HOPE For Kenya
SONG WRITING PROJECT – NAIROBI, KENYA The lead guest HOPE artist for this project is Renee Wilson; a singer/songwriter/actress. In this project the HOPE team work with the music program at the GOAL School in Nairobi to develop a song with the kids at the school. The GOAL school helps teach children and youth in difficult circumstances in the Nairobi slums.
311 & HOPE joined together to create a limited edition 311 t-shirt. The funds raised from the sale of these special shirts helped HOPE sponsor the 2010 Sawa Sawa Festival. These shirts were printed at Color Creations in Nairobi, Kenya with support from the B Campaign. The B Campaign gives back to their communities by encouraging locals to create and sell their own shirts to make a living.
